At Dance Culture Studio, we believe in creating & nurturing a positive and

respectful environment where everyone can thrive and enjoy the art of dance. To

maintain this atmosphere, we expect all dancers to adhere to the following code of

conduct:

1.Respectful Behavior:

Treat all dancers, coaches, and parents with respect.

Embrace diversity and be inclusive. Welcome new dancers warmly.

2.Punctuality:

Arrive to class on time, ready to train and give your best effort with a good attitude always, towards yourself and your teammates.

If your coach is busy or delayed, take the initiative to start the class warm-up or rehearse the routine.

3.Initiative and Responsibility:

Demonstrate leadership by taking responsibility for your own progress and encouraging a positive atmosphere.

Support newcomers in adapting to the studio atmosphere.

4.Proper Attire:

Dress appropriately for each class, for hip hop, please ensure you are wearing sneakers.

Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness.

5.Positive Communication:

Refrain from using foul language or engaging in negative conversations.

Avoid bullying or making hurtful remarks towards fellow dancers in person or on any form of social media.

6.Respectful Etiquette:

Listen attentively when your coach is providing instructions or feedback.

Be open to constructive criticism and use it as an opportunity for growth.

7. Team Spirit:

Support and encourage all dancers, encouraging a sense of unity and a safe space for

everyone to express themselves freely.

Celebrate each other's successes and offer help at all times.

8. Studio Space Etiquette:

Keep the studio space clean and organised.

Respect the equipment, bathroom facilities and studio space at all times.

Please do not eat in the studio, only drinks allowed. Preferably water.

9. Communication with Parents:

Communicate respectfully with parents, keeping them informed about your progress

and any studio-related matters. Your coach will communicate any important information directly to your parents.

10. Welcoming Newcomers:

Be kind, always.

A smile goes a long way, give our new friends, parents and guest instructors respect

and friendliness always.

12. High-Five for newbies, guest instructors and parents

New to the crew? Get ready for some high-fives and a warm welcome. Let's make

everyone feel at home and always keep a safe space for guest instructors, new parents

and new dancers.

13. Dance with Purpose:

Embrace hard work and set goals. If the choreography is throwing you a curveball, stay

positive, stay mindful, and keep pushing towards your goals.

14. Stay Positive, Overcome, Progress:

No negativity zone! If you stumble, rise with a positive mindset. Stay focused, overcome

obstacles, and keep progressing consistently.

By adhering to this code of conduct, we aim to create a vibrant and supportive dance culture here at Dance Culture Studios, where every individual feels valued and can unleash their full potential.

Let's dance together with respect, passion, and unity.
