Information Booklet 2025

Introduction

Welcome to Dance Culture Studios, where passion and commitment to dance come together to create exceptional experiences. Founded in 2012 by Quintus Jansen, our studio has become a nurturing space for dancers of all levels, from beginners to professionals. Prior to establishing Dance Culture Studios, Quintus managed South Africa’s premier studio, The Dance JunXion, and built a stellar reputation as an International choreographer, adjudicator, and coach.

Our community thrives on love for dance, and we are proud of our dancers’ achievements, from international tours and competitions to national stages. Our teachers are internationally recognised experts, dedicated to offering top-tier training in street dance and hip-hop styles.

Director Profile

Quintus Jansen holds an Entrepreneurial MBA from the University of Chicago and serves as the producer for World of Dance South Africa. As Managing Director of Creative Culture Productions, Quintus brings a wealth of experience to the studio, guiding dancers to excellence.

Dance Culture Studios is affiliated with the Street Dance Association, the Federation of DanceSport South Africa, SASCOC, the WDSF, and the International Olympic Committee.

Our Offering

Dance Culture Studios provides professional training in street dance and hip-hop for examinations, festivals, competitions, and stage productions. We cater to dancers at all levels and offer:

  • Technical and artistry training aligned with the Street Dance Association syllabus

  • Body conditioning and performance-focused coaching

  • Recreational classes and high-performance training for elite dancers

Dance training enhances coordination, confidence, spatial awareness, poise, musicality, and self-expression, helping children grow into well-rounded and disciplined individuals.

Year Plan 2025

The upcoming year promises to be exciting, with a focus on technical training and performance opportunities. Highlights include street dance battles, competitions, and team development. A detailed dance calendar will be distributed to assist parents with planning. Regular updates will also be shared via class WhatsApp groups.

We encourage regular attendance to ensure progress. High-performance dancers are required to attend at least two lessons per week, including mandatory body conditioning. Private lessons can be booked online and upfront payment is required.

Fees are payable monthly in advance. Non-payment will result in deregistration, with all outstanding fees due immediately.
